Z1100r carb set up

Just swapped over to an original fuel tap which now has a vacuum feed so want to set the carb pipe work up to standard, have also fitted a kerker so don’t know if I will need to rejet as well but need a base set up as it runs like a pig. Looking at cmsl the vacuum set up is 1 and 4 linked and 2 and 3 linked with a T piece to the vacuum feed on the tap. Is that correct as some show them blanked of with a cap?? Would you also recommend a full strip down and clean of carbs first, bike been stood for years I believe. Cheers
