Can anybody tell me the correct size of washer for the cylinder head ?

Is there any issue replacing the zinc plated steel with stainless steel ?

Thanks Steve

Do you mean the 92022-215 10mm washers? I thought they were copper.

The copper ones are for the 4 outer studs where oil is fed under them, i.e. they are a seal. The others are steel. However, I'm working on a Z650 head which has the same size washers but they are all steel.

The originals are not standard 10mm washers I believe, but are a bit wider....around 22mm vs the std 20mm

Not sure if this helps but there is a description further down detailing the washer size as 22mm x 10.5mm x 1.6mm and claiming that they are to original spec.

A bit unsure exactly which washers you are talking about & on exactly what engine ?
On the Z900's the 10mm capped nuts should all have copper washers on. They should either be renewed or at least annealed before refitting the nuts.
The two 6mm bolts, on the outside of plugs 1 & 4 have no washers fitted.
