Z900A4 rear rim offset?

#1 PostAuthor: Mick J » Sat Jul 17, 2021 10:13 am

Hi Guys, when I stripped my wheels years ago, I neglected to measure if there was any offset. I have a good front wheel with akront alloy rim and stainless spokes. I'm looking at ordering an alloy rear rim and set of stainless spokes for the rear, but need to know if the rim is offset to the hub at all? I suppose if there is an offset, the spoke length would be different each side? Hoping for any advice, thanks in advance, Mick

Hi Mick

when ordering a rear rim make sure it's for a drum brake wheel! You need 20 inner and 20 outer spokes.

Centre line of Rim is central to hub - so no offset.
