Just noticed from a FB link that https://www.facebook.com/Britishclassicmotorcycles/ now do a drab olive passivate on their zinc plating.
Could be useful for those wanting to keep carb clamps and screws a similar finish to original.

I looked into getting my old and tatty carb bands done. The fly in the ointment was a £50 minimum charge, and I couldn’t think of anything else that needed to be drab olive, so I bought a new genuine Kawasaki set instead.
Sadly, although genuine, they are no longer finished in drab olive, they are decidedly black.
