Tacho cable replacement seal?

#1 PostAuthor: Kenrolli » Wed Oct 20, 2021 10:53 am

Hi guys just replaced the seal for the engine end of the tacho cable (where it fits into the engine block) and realised that the kit came with an 'o' ring as well and wanted to know where it actually goes? I think myself that it would fit inside of the cable entry point but not sure at all....seems to be a lot of effort just to replace a simple 'o' ring IMO......anyway as usual I'm sure there are a lot of you guys with the answer and will appreciate any help available, ride safely one and all!! :up

The O ring goes on the shaft guide where it sits in the head but if it aint leaking then
