Z1000A1 Correct Pilot Screw?

Hi All, I have started to dismantle the carbs on my 1977 A1 (been standing 20 years) and would like your views on the pilot screws that came out.
First of all there were no springs on the tapers on any screw, in any of the four carbs (top pic) and 2, they look a lot different to the original part number given 16014-018 (middle pic)

Looks to me that the ones that came out are the wrong type and I should look to be replacing with the correct part number as given (along with new springs of course) As per the middle photo (Keyster). 3rd photo added for reference.
Unless there is something I don't know...which is highly likely

Many thanks for your help!
Paul

Morning,
have you had a good look in the passageway that the screw sits in? The springs might be well stuck in the bottom of them. Just an idea.
Pete

The one you have is correct and you just need springs if they aren't still in the carb body.
The other pic is the same screw functionaly but has the extended head to take the plastic tamper limiter ( part 33 ) which isn't needed.
Both types will work.

Fantastic information! much appreciated both of you!
I rechecked the carbs and no springs to be found. At least Kawasaki still sell them.

Z1015 - I would like my choke plungers resealed soon, guess I need to PM you?

Thanks
Paul
