hI, I have the opportunity of purchasing a Kerker exhaust for my GPZ1100B2 rebuild. the problem is that it is off of a 1978 Z1.
Would anyone know what the difference is between the two exhausts? There seems to be a lot of similarities between the two engines, obviously there are differences.
If it was something as simple as a mounting bracket or some other easily resolved issue it might be worth a punt !! :rock
thanks.

Hi,
Welcome to the forum.
This question might be better posted in the "Bike Help" section as more people are likely to see it and respond.
Maybe one of the mods can do this for you? (or you could re-post it)
Cheers
Rick

The frame downtubes of the early type bikes are much nearer to the head. Exhausts for these have a very short first section before the turn downward. Unfortunately they will be too short to clear the later type bikes downtubes.
