Am I right in thinking that M10 metric fine is 1.0 mm pitch. I need to clean out all the threads out on my alloy wheels for the discs. I want to make sure I get the right good quality set size.

It's for the set of 4 disc bolts. I was not sure as my old thread gauge is not that reliable. I thought it was 1.25 also but then started doubting myself. Thanks, I'll get a decent 1.25 tap set

You might be better using a thread chaser rather than a thread tap as the chaser is less likely to remove material from the holes. Obviously is the threads are damaged a tap may well be needed, but initially I'd use a chaser if you're just cleaning out threads.
