Z1 speedo
Hi can anyone help. I'm restoring a z1 900 1973 and it came to the UK from Italy so its in kmh and I see I can buy a converter but do I need to change the dial face as well to a mph one or do I use the existing one? Stan.

Re: Z1 speedo
I would look at getting a repop mph one to use and keep the original for resale time.

That's silly. Just turn it inside out.

The converters are awful IMO, it's a halfway effort.
Better to either change the gauge face or as the guys say, get a repro speedometer (though they are not 100% representitive).
I can sell you a complete kit to change over from KM/H to MPH. You can either fot it yourself or get Al Marshall to do the job.
