#1 PostAuthor: Rpp999 » Thu Apr 07, 2022 8:02 pm

Good evening learned ones. I have just received my new Hagon shocks and would like to fit them tomorrow. Any tips or advice in carrying out this mission. TIA.

Yep, bring em down here if you want and learn to juggle exhausts. :)

I've still got to fit my new Hagons on my A4 - I was advised it is possible, albeit fiddly (but so is loosening and/or removing the exhausts), to remove the shocks from the top mounts (they will flex on the rubbers) and jack up the rear wheel with a plank and wood block so the lower bolts line up with the space between the exhausts. Worth a try.

That's my plan of action too once I've rid myself of the dreaded C virus

My Hagon Classics turned up a couple of weeks ago........had to return them; they had not fitted the shiny stainless shrouds. Should arrive back today :)

I had intended to fit them last weekend but got tied up with other things. This weekend is busy too, especially if I go to the Ace for Kawasaki Day on Sunday so maybe a job for during the week; retirement was supposed to free up time.....

I'll let you know how it eventually goes.

Did Ray's (Rpp999) with him this morning. Bit fiddly but poss by bike on centre stand, undoing rear exhaust mounts, removing top shock mount, rachet strap the rear wheel with strap over the seat, flex exhausts out a tad, remove bottom shock mount.

Just changed mine from pattern to Hagons on the centre stand. Bit of a fiddle but achievable without loosening the exhausts.
