i have an oil leak from the generator cover on the z900. i have replaced the gasket twice and tried gasket sealant also but it still leaks after a run, am right in thinking it could be coming from the rubber block that the wires pass through in the generator cover (pic below ) or is it from somewhere else? any advice or tips on how to cure it welcome... many thanks in anticipation

Re: oil leak
Z-Power have the grommet you require,

Use plenty of good silicone around grommet + wires and i think your problem should be sorted.

+1on the above comment, plenty of sealer on the casing then slide the grommet onto it. Also plenty around the holes were the wires pass. Everyone has their favourite, but I'm a big fan of this Loctite sealer.
Re: oil leak
personally i would replace the wiring to the Stator as over time the wiring goes brittle & the wiring kit will not only give a slight improvement in the charging system the new wires will be a better fit going through the new grommet
