Hi Gents,
My Z1000 A2 has a DFI system from a 1983 ZX1100 (GPZ Unitrac).
It had been off the road for about 5 years and recommissioning has been a bit of a nightmare as the fuel had turned into brown stinky goo.
The tank was rusty and crusty and required tumbling with bolts in and then electrolytically stripping the rust out and re-lining. The injectors were all gummed up requiring a complete rebuild, the fuel pump was jammed but loosened up in the ultrasonic bath with brake cleaner.
Getting to the point...It had an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, but that has completely disintegrated internally. I have spare standard JECS regulator, but I'm looking for a replacement adjustable one.
Is there anything available?

Re: Fuel pressure regulator
Hi mate,
Just saw your post. I bought an adjustable regulator a while back while trying to sort out issues on my Z1000H. it worked, and was adjustable, but didn't solve my problem. If you search for it on eBay you'll find it - finest kit from China, £35. It appears quite robust, and fits relatively easily. The resolution of the gauge is pretty 'hit-and-miss', but it might provide a few hours entertainment. Beyond that, 'standard' 2.5 and 3 bar regulators, as fitted to the old Lucas EFI systems are widely available, and probably from more 'reputable' suppliers.
