Hi I'm wondering if any can give me any pointers on replacement fuel tap for my z1000 I've tried my local bike shops and some places online but no joy is there one from another bike that will bolt into place?
Similar question with my start stop/throttle assembly has anyone put something different in its place i don't mind if the cables run out side the bars or have to be extended. I don't feel like paying €600 one ebay.

Well that was embarrassingly easy. Uncle Google had me tearing my hair out. Thanks.

your l/h switch is not from a European bike it has no headlight switch fitted so you will need to do a bit of electrical wizardry
Re: 1978 z1000 fuel tap and start stop switch
pretty sure i've got a tap somewhere
Re: 1978 z1000 fuel tap and start stop switch
Switchgear is from a Canadian model where the lights are on all the time. Quite a rare item.
Fitting the pattern part will solve all your problems. Wiring connections should be a straight swap

Thanks that I'll be ordering the start/switch from z-power.
Using the information about the fuel tape on the site i was able to find a repair kit for it. https://www.wemoto.ie/parts/search?q=AB ... irect=auto doe's repairing the petcock work out or I'm better off biting the bullet and paying the £100 for the new one?
