Evening all, had a message off a mate who has acquired a Rickman frame, and what he thinks are 38mm Betor forks. He would like to know distance between centre of axle to top of stantion, his are 711mm. Also distance between centre of axle to top of alloy fork leg not including rubber dust seal, his are 341mm. He's not sure they are correct or whether they have been messed with.
Any help greatly appreciated. He did ask on a Rickman forum but all they wanted to do was correct his spelling

Re: Rickman measurements
I have measured from centre of axle to the top of the top yoke and that is 695mm. The second measurement is not so easy as the rubber boot is also held by the mudguard which is clamped to the lower fork. Estimated at 315mm.
Maybe post some pictures of the lower fork leg to help identify.

Re: Rickman measurements
Many thanks Will and Jumbo, I'll send Ray a message and pass on the measurements and see if he can send me a photo of the lower fork leg. Cheers

Here are the photos attached of the forks he got with the Rickman. He thinks they are Betor.
