Hi shaggy

find yourself an original Kawasaki workshop manual dealing with the Z1, Z900 or Z1000 A1/ A2.
The early four cylinder four stroke bikes are all the same (more or less).
It's all in there you have to know, it's explained from A to Z.
If you have a question, put it on here and you'll get an answer.

Would not consider myself an expert but have recently (2020/2021) rebuilt my Z1-B from the frame up so would be happy to help. Also have a few tools which might help (Kawasaki ring compressor etc).

I'm in Chandlers Ford so about 25 to 30 mins away from Portsmouth.

Good luck with the rebuild.
