Can anyone recommend a painter to return my newly acquired Z1000 to an original 1977 U.K. colour scheme.

Neutral for Sean from me.
He's done two paintsets for me and both were far from perfect. I rejected the first one and he had to redo the tank.
Second set has lots of issues with the lacquer. (Runs, sags, orange peel and contamination all hidden under the not properly rubbed off cutting compound).
He's Ok for a daily rider paintwork, but not if you're looking for concourse IMO.

Well Shaun has just done my paintwork on my A4 as far as I'm concerned it's as near perfect as possible, no blemishes, no runs and no orange peel. He even coated the backs in satin black.
I can honestly say I would recommend him as did others for me on the forum, I would definitely use him again.
I'm sure things do go wrong occasionally, after all we're not robots but I can only say as I find and mines spot on. Reasonable prices too.

Had several Big Zeds painted by Richie at FX in Ormskirk and all fantastic.
Z1000A1 was Diamond Sky Blue or diamond Wine Red. Z1000A2 is Luminous Red or Luminous Green.
Make sure your painter knows the difference.
