Gents,
Any recommendations for brake hoses that closely resemble the original rubber brake hoses fitted to our bikes? Not interested in stopping on a sixpence, they just need need to look and perform similar to originals.
Cheers guys.

Re: Brake hoses
Hi Redzee, Hel allow you to build a brake line using youre own (or as close as they do) specified; banjo's, angles, lengths, and plain black hose from this page.

Ferrules will look different but perhaps you can live with that.

Re: Brake hoses
Hi Al,
Thanks for the info.
The original hoses went into the bin long ago and I fitted Goodridge hoses. I'll try HEL for a quote.
As a backup, does anyone have used hoses from the GPz1100, Z1000R, Z1000J range of bikes that they might want to part with?

Re: Brake hoses
I use a company close to me in Highbridge, Somerset called Brakequip. Took along my old Z1000R hoses, inc the protective wire springs, and the guy made up identical original looking hoses and put the spring back on. Did all 4 hoses (3 for the front and rear too) for just over £100 and the same day too.
I believe that Brakequip is a UK national company and there's probably a dealer/agent close to you.

I've still got the "old" Z1000R and Gpz1100B1 ones which you're welcome to, but I'd recommend using them as a template to get new original looking ones made. See my post above

Re: Brake hoses
Hi Mike,
The hoses arrived today, many thanks for your help, it's really appreciated. Couldn't find a local branch so will probably post to your guy's in Highbridge. I'll keep you posted when I get to that part of the build.
Cheers
