Fork oil

Re: Fork oil
Rock oil is the brand I like , it comes in various grades ( "Weights"). And one manufacturer's grades don't necessarily correspond to another manufacturer's grades. Someone else might be able to tell you what weight to use, depending on your usage ( Sunday cruising or hard thrashes/ trackdays). Your manual will tell you how much to put in each leg. Are the stanchions 100% free of pitting in the area swept by the seals?

Re: Fork oil
Just done the same job on my Z1R. I used Motul expert 10w ('cos that's what my local bike shop had in stock
). Seems to be doing a decent job so far.
