Z1r Re bore sizes

#1 PostAuthor: phil1r » Tue Aug 08, 2023 9:04 am

Hi Guys, anyone point me in the right direction for ring gap and piston and bore clearance. For a 0.50 over sized re-bore. I've just had it done but before re-assembly I want to be 100% sure. As it all seems very tight to me !!!!
Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm just at the point of checking the ring gaps on my engine before assembly and from memory they should be 0.2mm minimum to about 0.4mm. The service wear limit is 0.7mm.
I can't help on the piston/bore clearance at the moment - I'm at work and my workshop manual is at home...
