Gpz1100B1 identification

#1 PostAuthor: scott » Sat Aug 26, 2023 4:05 pm

Hi Guys,
I have a Gpz1100B1. I’m trying to find out where it came from. I’m trying to find out what chassis identifier is fitted. Is it stamped on headstock, is it a white sticker or is it a riveted plate. Did Gpz’s in different counties have different style of identifier or did they all have the same type?

Hi Scott.
They should all have a stamped in the headstock number. Around that time KHI started riveting plates in as well. My J has in on the left down tube just below the headstock.

Mine has a riveted plate. Does anyone supply a new riveted plate. Mine is a bit mangled.

Not that I know of. I was going to suggest asking Peter Krauss but you have other contacts in Germany.
