Hi Folks, has anyone ever converted a standard clutch to the above. if so does a kit exist, or parts like a slave cylinder off another another bike. I know a dedicated one will be impossible to find, but willing to do some converting. Its to go on a Z1R . Thanks in advance.

I've done loads using ZXR type slave cylinders on outrigger plates etc but if you want an invisible conversion then there a chap called Falk Stumm in Germany who makes one that fits out of sight in the stock sprocket cover.

Like Zed said there i used an out riggger plate and a gsf1200 slave as i had one on my Bandit 12 i bought a Nissin master from Webike. Getting the distance in spacing and the length of the push rod right was a chore but works a charm now.

agree with the falk stumm recommendation. I use the same. Also ZRX Master Cylinders look neat and work well.

Hi Phil1r
Are you set on a hydraulic conversion or are you just looking to make the clutch easier to use? I asked a similar question earlier in the year (also about a Z1R) and the easiest recommendation was an easy-clutch kit. I've attached my thread - there's also another thread from chrisu linked to that one. I've not fitted one yet (webike were out of stock at the time) but it's one the list of things to do once the weather improves a bit.

Hi Grog, thanks for that, I will look at the other option as well. I would like to make it much lighter. If possible,
Also trying to keep the bike looking correct.
