Cleaning out the Crankcase Threads with chasers after aqua blasting........
Am I right in saying that the three threads used in the cases are M6 and M8
Are there any smaller or larger than these that I have missed?
Looking at the design of thread chasers online.... is it enough to take a couple of old bolts and run a hacksaw down them to use as chasers / thread cleaners?
I was going to use Taps, but is would seem that this is an ill-advised approach and could well do more harm than good.
Thoughts?
