I need to remove the fuel tap from my A4 tank and blank the threaded entry off to clean and treat the tank internally and from what I've found, I believe that the thread for the fuel tap is 22mmx1.0mm? Struggling to get anything like this - could always use a tapered rubber bung but I wondered if anyone else has had a previous (better) solution?
Cheers in advance for any help

An old fuel tap in the off position works a treat
