Phillipe may have covered this, but I couldn't find it.
I'm trying to adjust a fuel cap for a Z1100r to match the key.
I disassembled a 1000r cap before without any issue(top image), but surprisingly the inside of the 1100 cap is different and I can't get the barrel out without force. I can pick it to turn to 10 o'clock and 5 o'clock but cannot get it to push through anywhere within this range. I don't want to F#ck it. Any advice? 1100 cap is the one on the bottom image.
