Mikuni Identification help

#1 PostAuthor: Bert » Sat Mar 09, 2024 11:34 am

Hi,
I picked these carbs recently and was told they are for Z1000 but after looking more closely I am not convinced. They came in disassembled but complete. The choke plunger rubbers are perished on two of the bodies and will need gaskets etc. Can anyone help identify them or at least confirm they are for Z1000?
Number stamped on each body looks like 1895 314 and main jet is 130 but that doesn't mean a lot.
Cheers,
Rob (Bert)

Just checked my J3 carbs, and apart from the caps which are pressed steel on the J3 and not cast as on earlier models they look like yours but off a J1 or J2. No identification code to be seen though.
Eight valve grunt.
