#1 PostAuthor: Mrg » Fri Mar 15, 2024 7:04 pm

Can someone confirm that this unit is fubar
IMG_20240315_181929~2.jpg

1&2 shows nothing
3&4 show 774 ohms
5&6 had to set meter at 2m ohms got 1.1 for 5 and 1.4 for 6
I take it that's 1.1 & 1.4 million ohms?

Yes thats 1.1 and 1.4 milion ohms which is very high compared to what it should be. Make sure fingers are not touching probes as moist fingers can cause readings to show when on high resistance ranges.

I take it there is no spark!

Also touch probes together when changing resistance ranges to make sure meter reads zero before measuring
