German Gpz 1100 unitrack frame/engine number range.
To anyone out there who might be the GPZ1100 guru, im trying to pin down what i have frame and engine wise in a job lot i bought pre covid and all i have is info from the states and all 3 of my frames are German. All im finding is the American KAZXBA1vDA000001 and on but all my frames and ownerships are KZT10A-00. Also 2 of the engines have the numbers KZT01BG. All im looking for is any info on the European numbers if any one out there is in the know, tanks in advance!

Thanks for that mate, i actually have that book. The thing is that while the frames are all ZXT01 the engines are split between KZT01BG and KZT01BE, there is little or nothing out there that is a bit more specific, plus i have two of the frames in the 85 region and would like to know what engine cases to hunt for for the 85 specifically.

That puts one of them in the late 1983 and the other in early-ish 1984. Thanks for that again, would not have know those engines were in such low numbers.

I see on the first picture you have the separate prefix KHI. I have that on one of my engines which I hadn't seen before

Both the German engines have it and this one too i was looking at. Must be unique to that casting.

Very helpful, any info for the 83 German Gpz1100 engine numbers is rare on the ground i did find this on a German forum. translated of course.
"to the best of my remembering the units produces for the German market were at the end of the year, 9000 units for the USA and world market and 1800 for the European German market. This reflects in the frame numbers 010800 and the engine numbers 001800."
I would assume that would also translate to the 84 and 85.
