Under seat decal

#1 PostAuthor: redzee » Tue Apr 16, 2024 5:25 pm

Guy's,
Under seat on inner rear plastic guard. Daily Safety Checks decal/sticker white rectangular with p/n 56031-1075 bottom right hand corner, to suit UK Z1000J.
One on Ebay from Image Works has incorrect bike drawn to suit my model. Tried HV Cycle in US, images too poor to tell if any are suitable.
Any ideas where I could source one from, UK or elsewhere ?
Cheers

Look at Z-power's website for your bike and search "stickers"

Thanks Guy's,
Gray- Z Power have the sticker for the earlier Z1000 model but I can't find J model. I may use this if all else fails.
Keith - Did you try to send a hyperlink ? Sorry, it's not working on my browser.

Thanks for helping.

Z-Power's stickers are OK if you just want a sticker, but sadly they are not very accurate reproductions based on the ones I've had from them.

I suppose it depends on what kind of restoration you plan to do - if you are entering contours, or just making it pretty good, to please yourself.
No harm in phoning Z power to see what they can do for you - they're very helpful in all Zeddish matters

Have you got or have you seen a decal with that part number with a J model pictured in it? The number itself comes back to a MKII. The pic below is from a J2 thats sold and it shows what looks like an original sticker with that part number but with a MKII bike.
There is also a rear guard for sale on ebay in Germany that shows the same. I wonder if there was a J model pictured or did they just use the left over MKII ones???

You may be able to click the picture to zoom it up!!

Hi Al,
Great detective work, my old a knackered decal is indeed showing a Z1000 mk2. Never noticed in forty years
Will contact Z Power tomorrow as their website is not showing this one as an option.
Thanks to all for your input.
