Spare connector under tank.
Found this connector in the loom under the tank whilst fitting new ignition coils. Am I correct in assuming this is for the stop light failure switch, and is not needed on a UK spec Z1000A1?
Cheers

Hi yes that is connector for brake lamp fail warning, a lot of people have disconected the unit after going faulty, but you can still get them if needed. Mines an Z900 A4 model before yours and has the same connector, you may also find a 2 pin connector spare too which believe was for the winker buzzer. Probably used same or similar looms around that era.
