Rim embossing question.

We're all the rims used on Z's have the Takasago embossing on the rim width flats or did any have the embossing on the veritcle wall?
Reason for asking is I'm working on a Z1b for a friend of a friend and both the front and rear rims have embossing on the side walls and never seen it before?

Takasago were taken over by DID in the late nineties. DID stamped their rims as per your photo.
I have never seen Takasago mark their rims on the side wall until you posted this photo. I would guess this is a replacement rim from the late nineties during a 'transition' period from being branded to DID from Takasago.
Only a guess mind you

I realised they are replacement rims just never seen this stamping configuration.
I'm guessing they are zephyr rims.
