Z1000J Carb O-Rings

#1 PostAuthor: Foxfix » Sun Sep 29, 2024 5:16 pm

Can anyone point me to a good supplier for O-Rings in my 1981 Z1000J CV Carbs?

I need the latest (viton?) type o-rings.

1). O-Rings for float valve buckets

2). O-Rings for the small push in plug that covers the idle/pilot jets

Thank you

The float valve seats are the same as my Z1000R2 and I've used viton ones from simplybearings.co.uk . Off the top of my head I think they're 7mm x 1.5mm (ID x o-ring section). Less tha £5 for 10

I haven't replaced the pilot plug seal but it's the same measuring theory as above.
