fork oil

just re-building my Z1000 78 forks, the book says 10 W 20, what do you guys use ?

doesn't matter, im going with 15W fork oil.

Add in 1/2 inch of pre load also, to counter that initial nose dive

Before fitting the top caps compress the spring add in 1/2 spacers (coins do a good job) then fit the top cap. The spacers pre compress the springs and take up the initial nose dive softness.

Ah got yah, the springs I used came out of a SR 650 which are about 10mm longer, I'll see how they go. :wink:
