The CFM fibre gaskets for the J motors became shite about 7 or 8 years ago. Dont know if they changed the compound / supplier but i had endless problems with them leaking and tried absolutely everything to stop that. You can torque a new one to 29 lbs/ft but now its leaking it wont help.
The MLS gaskets are effectively piano wired in the gasket and using standard torque, you do them up and thats that. No need to re-torque as they dont compress but they do bite in to the alloy.
As Phil says they may be re-useable but i dont know as i havnt needed to.
I dont personally recommend the 'New' cometic cam cover gaskets. They are composite with a woven middle. They are rubber coated and are one performance only. When you take the cam cover off to check shim gaps after xxx miles you need a new cam cover gasket as the rubber coating gets left behind. They are also sharper than a box cutter knife on the edge so working on the head end is hazardous to say the least.
Here's an 1170 version MLS at 75mm / 76mm but dont know if they do them for standard bore at 1100cc and 72.5mm,.. you could speak with them.
