Hi guys, going to do my fork seals this weekend, bought 15w oil just noticed in the manual it should be 10w ,should I use the 15w and what difference would it make ,maybe use less than the recommended 169cc . Thanks.

Depends on how you ride, and the roads you ride on. I generally use 15W , and the standard volume, I've tried 10W in the past and I wanted to stiffen things up a bit. But don't increase the volume of oil too much , because that reduces the air volume in the fork leg above the oil and it all becomes harsh and stiff

Thanks the reply, I'll go ahead and add the 15w oil and stick to the recommended 169cc , don't mind if it stiffens the front slightly thanks again.
