Quick bit of advice from you knowledgeable chaps,when to put the decals on.This is going on a zephyr 1100 ( wire wheels ) choices are after base coat before lacquer,couple of coats of lacquer then apply decals with a couple of lacquer after or completely finish tank then apply

Couple of laquer then decals then couple more laquer.

Dont go crazy with to many clear coats over your base, quick pass and then one "wet coat" if you are using a room temp clear allow at least a week before the final 2 coats over the decals. To many clear coats can muddy the base coat.
