Z1 front suspension

Hi all
Have a z1 with early front suspension. It is a bit clunky. I have read elsewhere that this is a common characteristic of these and Kawasaki changed this system going forward. Has anyone on here improved this knocking? I’m thinking some better springs might help. There is some wear on the components but I have had them stripped down before and this doesn’t look any worse than it was a few years ago. Thanks for any input?

Iv read that a direct swap with later Z1b fork inners fixed that problem.

A good suggestion to convert to Z1B fork internals.
