Does anyone know if the front down pipes and collectors from PRE 1980's Z1000/Z900 will fit onto a 1981 Z1000J / LTD ?

All the Z1 through to GPZ1100 aircooled motors have the same intake and exhaust spacing.

Its more about if the down pipes with conflict with the frame or bottom of the motor and sump or not that I need to know.

I want to fit a 4 into 2 system onto my 1981 Z1000 LTD ..............but nobody makes a system for them so looking to see if anything else will fit ?

Ideally fit earlier Z1000 / 900 down pipes and collectors, then buy some short silencers to fit onto them.

All the Z1 through GPZ11 aircooled engines share the same height and sump depth dimensions and the frame cradles are pretty much the same too so any down pipes will physically bolt on without fouling.
The main differences are the collector box and silencer mounting points depending on model.
