Hi
Does anyone have experience of fitting RS34s on a Gpz1100 b2 ?
I am thinking i may get some for my gpz project instead of refurbing my 40yr old BS34s,
I just want to check for any potential snags, i know i need a push/ pull throttle but was wondering if fuel tap clearance was an issue ?
I have two different tanks i could use i .
The original B2 tank with `normal` tap or a Z1000j tank with vacuum tap ( which sits slightly further forward nearer engine).
please could anyone tell me if there are any potential clearance probems .-- or anything else i havent thought of !.

thanks
Mick

I've got bored out VM26's on my J and tank wouldn't seat because the original tap hits the carbs top. Had to make a feed plate and run an inline fuel tap. Anything can be made to fit.

RS 36's on a standard tank and tap on a J1 and you get about three mm's and thats with the back of the tank lifted by about 1/4 of an inch.
Yes to 'push pull throttle and cables' and there are two different mounting boots for different applications. One is more suited to RS carbs stubs than the other but one is also priced about three times that of the other. In truth, both will probably be fine but its about the detail of the shape of the groove in the carb stub and that of the internal of the rubbers. One is squarish the other half round!
