I will soon be replacing my 45 year old Carb To Head Rubbers on my 81 KZ1000 CSR.
I have seen a few posts suggesting its best to glue these to the head as well as the 2 bolts on each one.
Is this a common thing to do on these air cooled bikes, as I have never came across it on others ?
If so, what is the best glue to use, as I would normally just use a little Blue Hylomar.
Thanks for any advice.

Re: Carb Rubber Question ?
If you are using genuine Kawasaki inlet rubbers then just a smear of holymar will be sufficient to fill any imperfections in either face.
If you are going repop rubbers and have no airbox fitted then the carb rack will need additional support to stop carb bounce splitting the VERY soft rubbers they are made from aswell as sealant.
The genuines are expensive but 10x better quality.
