Hi, can anyone please tell me if the carbs have O rings on the T piece on a 78 z1000a2 ? if they do how many? thanks.

Mikuni had changed to sleeves by then.
If you can't find new sleeves take the old ones off, wrap some ptfe tape around the spigot to increase the diameter then refit the sleeve.

I had to run the o/d down a smidge to facilitate pushing into the carb bodies after sliding onto the Tee , I achieved this in the lathe however a drill chuck and some fine emery cloth would do just as well I have had similar success with the straight pieces but they tend to be easier as they are normally a brass tube, for info I did this in 2020 they are still holding fine on all 4 bikes I still own but have actually done it on about 7 sets of carbs , just a possible solution that you can try or not
