pick up coils

On my KZ1000-P (1997) how compatible are the pick up coils with other models? If I am looking for a second hand pair, what bikes can I match them up with?

I'd imagine that Z1000J are the same,so CSR,LTD,GPz1100 B,etc should do the trick
