Tyre dilema/choice

Can anyone help?

I have a Z900A4, which as we all know was originaly shood with a 3.15x19 up front and a 4.00x18 to the rear.

I'm after the famous BT45 :D but as well as the 4.00 and 3.15 Bridgestone also do the modern equivalent 120/90/18 and the 100/90/19.

My dilema as you may have guessed by now ... which should I go for/does it matter/whats the difference? :roll:

I see that Z Power advertise the originally specified tyres.
I had Continental (for BMW) tyres on my old Kettle. I figured they suited the weight of the bike and the type of riding we subject our old nails to. I could certainly hustle that fat old bitch when I felt like it!

i have the metric ones on mine - though i went for a 130 on the back.

still looks a bit skinny next to my Z1R though which has a 180.

Steve,with the standard rim size 100/90 x 19" front and 120/90 x 18" rear.

i have a dunlop arrowmax on back `120/90/65v and thats brill and its also very good in the wet,ive a pirrelli phanton on the front as it is ribbed and in my experience z`s need a rib on the front.

I reckon a pair of BT45's are hard to beat for all rounders.

I put BT45's on my Kettle. It completely transformed it. Heartstopping moments when you slither about on white lines were a thing of the past

No. Pro tyre didn't have any so I put on Avons. Newer 'un has BT45s though. Bin out in the rain on her today and had no sliding about issues, though to be fair I didn't on the Avons 'til the front suddenly let go ... only God knows why :(
