dyna ignition ,how do you check if the pickup coils are ok.any suggestions. had some on mi bike an it wunt run right,(brand new)from debbens.could it have burnt mi coils out.

Primary resistance should be 3 ohm between the low voltage terminals. Don't know what secondary resistance should be but there should be one. You could rig a spark tester as shown in Kawa manual. If the brass inserts in the end turn they break the LT conection.
