Blueing of pipes

The middle two downpipes are blueing up but the outer two arent does this suggest carbs are out of balance or just thinner chrome :)

Hmmmmmm, centre pots always run a bit hotter.... It's not unknown for #3 & 4 to run on slightly larger jets in the racing arena :wink:

As this is tied in with "coils" too, best to double check timing :!:
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!

Most of the repro pipes I have used tend to blue a little . Never have the problem with my original pipes with the thicker downtubes. Bluejob polish does a great job of getting the blue marks off if its any help

The originals were probably double skinned.

Piggy - 2&3 are the middle ones :wink:

Hi i would try a gunson colourtune to see if all the pots are burning the same,
Do the centre two plugs have a different clour to the outer two? Cheers Pauljac...

Spot on mate maralyn done my A2 with a colour tune yesterday as my No 1 exhaust was blueing more than the rest and it was running a tad lean thanks for that by the way paul.
