Front Calipers A4

I want to upgrade the calipers on my A4 to something a tad more modern, 1995 or later if poss.

Anyone out have any experience in doing the same, suitable replacements etc

Retro900, have a look at DISCUSSIONS.... Nice Z1R brakes..... 4 pot v's 6 pot.

Looks the goods. Otherwise, if you don't want to go modern, and lets face it, you probably don't want floating discs! You could go for Z1000A2 and mount them behind the forks. (Need longer speedo cable).

I can lock my front wheel with 2 calipers the same as your 900A4.

Are they working correctly ? Or maybe ride a little slower :roll:

YES, of course they are working properly, not a novice to these Z9 things, had been riding them these past 27 years.

Just fancy something a bit nicer looking, and a bit more modern.
