Shoved a set in a day or so ago - difference is noticeable particularly on start up and at low revs - very nice.

The Z1 takes BR8s not 7s - so says the NGK plug finder anyhow

All in all - worthwhile

I've tried both NGK and Denso iridiums, both are a noticeable benefit, but on one of my bikes ( not a Zed ) , I've found that the Densos are markedly better at igniting less than perfect mixtures.

One word of warning, Iridiums, especially with Dyna coils, are almost capable of igniting fresh air :D ..... you can have a very ( too ) lean mixture and you don't get the typical hesitation symptoms, until its a bit too late..

So even though they burn clean and are supposed to last for 10's of thousands of miles, still make a habit of checking the colour once in a while.

I've used iridium's on a bike with worn piston rings and I found trouble with starting due to fouling the number 2 plug. Once I got it going they were noticeably different especially at low rpm/speeds. I changed to iridium's on a my Z1A which as recently had work done so no piston ring issue and I wouldn't use anything else now, really smooth.
