hopefully everyone (mostly) had a good time - some people enjoyed themselves more than most on Sunday night.

I believe Ted will be last to get home - everyone else should be home by now except him.

Photos and new nicknames to follow. There are some bits that should probably 'stay on tour'

BunnyZ - is your bike clean yet ?

Got back at 1615 - one fuel stop at Witham. Just done the maths - 45mpg at an average of 70mph from the fuel stop on the A3 - including the tunnel and the roadworks at Brentford.

Many thanks to Bunny for arranging and to Chris for leading us there and back - despite my best efforts at preventing this!!!

A few pictures to keep you amused...

Meet up at Portsmouth for fish and chips - before the invasion begins in earnest

Getting ready to reconnoitre on Saturday

Off to Bayeux - this is the cathedral

and the British Cemetery

and a tank museum

Back to Arromanches - British commandos on the beaches where the landings took place

Image

Before going west on Sunday - just enough time to see this excellent unmarked original WWII Norton - the pride and joy of its owner

Members of Z division cross the Pegasus bridge

Then on to Courseulles sur Mer for lunch - this is another of the landing beaches (Juno)

Returning to the 360 museum at Arromanches

One last drink (for some but not for others)

Before a 0600 start this morning

I had a great time - the bikes and the blokes made it a weekend to remember - thanks to every one who went.
