Cheers Will, some nice stuff there, [apart from that UGLY XJ650 turbo], always liked the TDR250, nice flat-track Triumph, loved the Laverda.
Paul, [the guy i was telling you about], won 3rd place with his H1.
Thanks for the birthday wishes, does life begin at 50? I hope so
:D

Wow, just didn't want the pics to end  :!:
Some really nice bikes and some rare bikes that never sold in their day too well, that are either very well restored or been kept immaculate from new, like the z550 and the xs400 (like that with the wire wheels instead of alloys! )

Happy Birthday Phil.

Good collection of bikes there Will. The endurance styled Laverda looked interesting and I liked that Triton.

The TDR belongs to my inferior brother Ray
So far he's spent over £4k on it and he's still going :star :idiot
I know it's a nice bike but come on.... I think he's got a problem :??

great pics Will, the Z550 is owned by Jim Bean (not of whisky fame) it's got 74,000 miles on it. He also has a Z1B that he's been re-building since 1995, not on the road yet !!

Yes had a really good chat with him Dave, a damm nice bloke he is too. He was quite surprised at what an anorak I was over his baby Zed..... I owned the original Z500 when they first came out in 1979.

Laurence won a prize for his Dunstall GS1000 but cleared off before the prize giving.

The su was as strong as last year too, a great day out in all, though looking forward to another long Zed weekend rally soon.

if I ever had excess money there would be a TDR250 and a XTZ750 Super Tenere in my garage love the concept of these jiggers althought I believe the TDR are a wee bit unreliable hench
