Durham Bikewise 2009 16th August 2009

#1 PostAuthor: Baz Swailes » Thu Aug 06, 2009 10:01 pm

Just a reminder that we are putting a stand on at the Durham Bikewise event to be held at Police HQ, Aykley Heads, Durham on 16th August

Bikes coming: Hobbo, Ted, Jakeymara, Big Green Bus, Steve, and our Harris.

Could Fletch let us know if he is coming as we don't have contact details

BBQ (weather permitting) at Casa Swailes on the Saturday night - let us know who's coming

Hiya Just recovering from bikewise. Really good show, thanks for supporting the stand to Hobbo, Ted, Steve, Fletch n Jakeymara (who managed to get there today despite injuries - exercise just isn't good for you!) . Really good variety of bikes on show

Photos will be posted when I fathom out how to do it but hopefully others may do it first. Ted has a rather good shot of Hobbo I believe

Apparently there were almost 1000 bikes in the bike park and god knows how many cars cos the show was really busy all day.

Baz' Harris got runner-up in best modifed but he had to let me collect trophy cos JOHN McGUINESS was giving the trophies out and he's my absolute hero - I know he rides a H**** but I don't care!!!!!

Oops just spotted the deliberate mistake. Apart from the photo of me and the gorgeous Mr McGuiness the only photo we have from today is of Hobbo resting his eyes and Fletch debating whether to check for a pulse.

Jakeymara's bike didn't arrive until this morning due to him spending yesterday in A & E following a sporting injury (I can be bribed to give further details) So can anyone with photos from today put some on cos there is a bike missing on ours

Great photos of the event only wish I had the time to come down for the weekend but had a few things that needed to be done. Looks like a good event with a brilliant selection of Zeds in what looks like a quite restricted amount of space, well done Baz and Jan. Will definately try to get down next year.
