Ralph / Cb

Sandie and myself had a great weekend down in the south west think we where the only ones to see the 8 police that was sent by someone who complained about the rabble  but they were soon talked round by the landlord and left  . It was so funny they went running in the front door only to be greeted by a pissed lanlord and an empty pub ( z1oc hidden round the back )

Well done Ralph & Marion

Thanks to all who came and supported our rally - too many to name

Sorry we didn't get back early enough Sunday morning -:pist: it was all my fault - and those generous souls who bought me so much beer  :pist:

Didn't discover that some git had grassed us up to the local plod 'til the next day. I understand that the Old Bill took the view that the cows who complained, were just trouble makers, from a village bloody miles away and must have been using special listening devices

Odd to have come back from the ride out with more Zeds than we set off with. GB never thinks he's had a proper ride if he hasn't bought oil

As ever at the South West rally, there was a very high standard of drinking, but GB actually managed the ride out, we feel as a direct result of the demise of his intoximeter, which apparently died of liver disease  Sadly Guy was suffering too much from the detrimental consequences of Somerset Scrumpy to enjoy the ride out. Tricky Micky was also suffering from Friday's excesses but cured them with a treble dose of paracetamol and more Scrumpy - may the Lord have mercy on his liver

We had a surprise visit from Sandi & Nigel, who many will remember as the hosts of our first rally.

Was very pleased with the band who I am sure would be welcome at future rallies :D

Excellent event Ralph & Marion :rocks :resp

As you've said, I actually managed to make the ride out for the first time ever.  Even though the 'gentle' Friday night went on a bit later than planned (It was 1.30am the last time I remember looking at my watch  )
My oil purchase was down to a faulty level sensor, not oil consumption, which was a big relief.

Saturday night ended up very messy............. After watching the fantastic band, we retired back into the pub, for more refreshments....... It all went downhill from there...............

After Uttoxeter I swore I'd never touch Jaegermeister again............

Click the pic for a small sample (May take a while to buffer  )

Nice one Steve, I noticed Mr Parr in the background was having none of it. At least he remembered Uttoxeter!!

Looks like you all had a great time.

That's because Mr Parr is a sensible lad!!!

Notice the effect the Jaegermeister has on us all just 40 seconds after drinking the stuff.

Fantastic weekend. Thanks Ralph and Marion. It was great jumping on the zed and going somewhere different this year and meeting loads of new people. I'd only ever managed the Bucks Rally before. Winning a tophy was the icing on the cake. I worked out later that most of the "patina" all over the engine was my own fault due to over liberal application of ACF50. That stuff takes a long time to burn off.

Good ride out, band and beer up. I'll be there next year.

Some brilliant pics there, looks like everyone had a blinder of a time.
Steve (GB) - Put simply, you're mad
I must really get my act together and make a few more rallies in the future.
I'm already working on the 1000J so can actually carry a tent etc unlike the Saxon.
Well done Ralph and all who contributed. :up
